Bill’s Restaurant & Bar – Covent Garden

Amazing restaurant, warm and hospitable, with an excellent variety of dishes. Some dishes are original and sooo good! We can’t wait to come here every time we visit London! On a more practical note, the prices are very reasonable, waiting time is not long even without a reservation (the sign at the entrance says: No reservation? No problem. We’ll squish you in ). Today I went for brunch with my daughters and we were served by wonderful Kristin :) Thank you, Kristine 🌸💕 🏻

Bills - Covent Garden, Monday 27 January 2025. We chose this place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. We were a party of 12. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Staff were accommodating but the star of the day is our server, Anna! She was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. This restaurant strikes the perfect balance between chic and cozy. The ambiance is trendy yet comfortable, making it ideal for intimate dinners and lively gatherings. The food is excellent and portion sizes are great!

We had breakfast at Bill’s this morning, and it was absolutely incredible! The Eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared and full of flavor—definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long time. One of our friends couldn’t stop raving about the pancakes, even calling them “the best pancakes they’ve ever put in their mouth.” That’s high praise, and they were not wrong! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to start the day. The staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the experience. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a table—it gets busy, and for good reason. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Bill’s is a must-try for breakfast lovers. We can’t wait to return!

⭐⭐⭐ The food at Bill’s Covent Garden was good, but the service left much to be desired. The pancakes were fantastic, but I ordered my eggs well done, and they came undercooked. We specifically told the waiter that we wanted the pancakes served after the eggs and main courses. However, they brought the pancakes with the eggs, and we had to send them back. It felt like our request wasn’t taken seriously. Rating: Scrambled Egg was fine 6/10 Pancakes 🥞 9/10 Pancake maple syrup 10/10 Mac & cheese 6/10 French fries 7.5/10 Water they have only big size. When they finally brought the pancakes, they placed the clean plate on a dirty table! The table had leftovers from our main course, and they didn’t even bother to clean it before serving. This lack of attention to cleanliness was disappointing. They also don’t offer straws or proper plastic cups for the people who don't prefer glass cups! Since the glass cups were gross for me! –– and payment is card-only, which is inconvenient. Customers should have the option to pay however they prefer. In summary, while the food was enjoyable, the poor service and lack of basic care made the experience far less enjoyable than it could have been.

I recently had lunch at Bills in Covent Garden, and it was a delightful experience! I ordered the chicken burger and the beef burger, along with some dumplings, and everything was absolutely delicious. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor, while the dumplings were a perfect side. The atmosphere was cozy, making it a great spot to relax. To top it all off, the service was excellent—friendly and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Highly recommend
