We opened our doors in 2017 in the heart of Barcelona, on Rambla Catalunya, and since then we have worked to offer fast food, but 100% artisan food. Milanese, threads, pizzas and empanadas are the four pillars on which Chalito’s menu is based. All of them made with homemade dough, which we prepare by hand every day with the utmost care, and which respond to our gastronomic philosophy: Handmade, made with enthusiasm.

We did not know much about this restaurant, but wanted to have a big dinner since we were out all day. There was a line but the turnover was relatively quick, got seated within 5 minutes. The portions were huge. For some reason we enjoyed the wings. Their main dish was alright (milanese), i find their other menu dishes to be more enjoyable.

The food tasted amazing and the waiters were also very friendly. We arrived shortly before 20:00 and easily got a table. But after 20:30 it became full and around 21:00 there was a long line outside the restaurant.

I strongly suggest to have Milanese because all of them, taste very well. If you are hungry, get the one with additional topics. I definitely recommend this restaurant. On the service side the waitress (Empleat 10) who is looking after us at 21:21 was really helpful about the preparation of food and also choosing the dessert. Many thanks to her and the whole team.

After the long journey of more than 20 hours, me and my parents decided to grab some snack near the hotel before going to bed. Chalito was just perfect for the first impression of Barcelona. I felt sorry for not speaking Spanish but Gabriel and the other staff were so welcoming and kind. Food is delicious and the draft is fresh. We were so full that we couldnt try other menus, but heard ‘pampa’ is good too. I’ll try it next time I visit! Thank you for the service! Gracias :)

The food is very close to what you can taste in Uruguay. The milanesas were really good and so was the provolone. The chivito was ok. Staff was courteous and fast.
