One of the best bars in the Rione Monti in Rome. Near the Colosseum, Bar La Licata is a typical place for locals. You will enter as a guest and leave as a friend!
The breakfast menu was complete and delicious. My husband is allergic to grapefruit juice, and they kindly changed the drink for us. The vegetables were fresh. The staff was very friendly, especially Beatrice, who was exceptional. Despite the busy atmosphere, she visited each table and checked everything, which made us want to visit again. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Colosseum alongside your breakfast
We had a very delicious breakfast at La Licata! The food was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the day.
The place was quite busy, so the service was a bit slow, but it’s understandable given how popular it is. Despite the wait, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and our overall experience.
Would definitely come back for another morning treat!
LOVE the American breakfast. the bacon just melts in your mouth. Literally the best orange juice I’ve ever had. Even better than Valencia. Wow.
we almost were late for our flights because we tried to cram in one more visit for breakfast!
Busy as a beehive, even if you come here at 7:30 am. A perfect blend of tourists and locals. Tasty breakfasts, friendly/smiling staff, impressive efficiency, delicious croissants with fresh fruits and local specialties + just the kind of espresso you hope for to start your 15 km walk across Rome’s iconic landmarks ;) In short, much recommended! You’d think a place like that is easy to find in Rome, but it’s not!
La Licata, conveniently located near the Colosseum, is a delightful spot for breakfast, especially for vegans. The café offers several vegan pastries, and they can make their avocado toast vegan upon request. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to start your day in Rome. The vegan pastries are delicious, and the avocado toast is a standout, perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a tasty, plant-based breakfast before exploring the historic sights nearby.
