5 months agoPlenty of seating indoors and out! Inside: there have one larger booth (fits maybe 5-6) then two other normal size booths and many tables inside and out! Clean, food is pretty good, friendly and quick service! I tried a vanilla cappuccino, it was good! Prices are very fair. They have a restroom inside that was very clean and well stocked. It’s on the smaller side so restroom is single toilet and sink. Plenty of parking located outside restaurant in parking lot or on street - there is two hour free parking. Keep in mind they close about 2PM (:

6 months agoIt is a cute little cafe, a nice place to have coffee and hangout. The food could use improvement, the Belgian waffle was dry and not crispy at all and the bagel did not have cream cheese and the scramble needed more seasoning.

3 weeks agoGiovanni was our server and provided excellent attention when we sat on their front patio. The food was delicious. My husband's over medium eggs were cooked to perfection and my Belgium waffle had generous servings of fresh fruit. If we lived locally, this would be a favorite place that we would eat at frequently.

7 months agoIt was our first time at this cafe. The cafe was under staffed today and full of people. But we decided to wait anyway. Understandably we knew that it was a going to be a while. We waited about 40min until we got a table for 2. We were of course greeted and right away ordered our drinks. We patiently waited and eventually had our food ordered and just took in the ambience and vibe. I could see the servers were very attentive to other customers and the hostess was pitching in cleaning and setting tables. I could see the team effort. Our table had a little basket with creamers and sugars and Crayons! The "table cloth" was actually a large white piece of paper, so I took the opportunity to doodle while we waited for our food. Eventually we got our food, and it looked great. The portions were large and perfect, and the taste was even better. It made the waiting worth it. I'll definitely come back.

2 months agoUnfortunately I can not recommend. In my opinion this place is a bit of a hole in the wall. Took a long time to get food, then when we received it was cold. Very basic menu with nothing really outstanding. There are lots of great cafes and restaurants on second street, this one is definitely at the bottom of my list. And Belgian waffle was hard as a rock. Talked to manager about it who came off somewhat rude. Why waste money? The Library in Long Beach has great pastries and coffee. And there's some other great spots.
