Great brunch find in Shinjuku station. Good coffee, mango juice was amazing, and they have mimosas. Food all around was great. We sampled a little bit of everything. Both Benedict’s were top notch. I preferred the French toast over the pancakes.
Would definitely eat here again.
Took a while to get seated because of a short Q which was fine. Was promptly ushered to our seats. Food arrived about 10 mins. Had to wait some time for our water and there was not enough kids cutlery.
Overall, an okay experience.
Wheelchair accessibility is not available till Lumine opens at 11am. However there are escalators going up. Just fold up the baby stroller and carry it up. Otherwise people with wheelchairs not accessible till after 11am.
Take the South Gate exit/entrance and look for the escalators going up and down, the Sarabeth sign will be there.
The food and atmosphere and service were all great! We got the avocado toast, waffles and French toast. All were tasty and delicious. Spacious seating, opens early as 9am. Just wait in line for seating on the left at the entrance.
Twenty to twenty-five minutes after placing the order, everyone else’s food and drink were served but ours was not. When asked, we found out they hadn’t placed the order at all. We afraid it would take too long to make and we needed to catch the train, so we didn’t wait any longer. Including the time we waited to be seated, we wasted a full forty minutes. It was a very bad experience.
Ok. I'm in my zone, as Westerner, I'm the man for this review.
Waffle. Sucks. Simple as that. Carmel was bitter and tasted like it was burnt in its preperation. Maybe that's what they were going for? Other toppings are weak and remarkably flavorless. Speaking of flavorless, so was the waffle. Perhaps it would have been best doused in butter to regain anything that resembled moisture. God is sucked and for the ridiculous cost, it was just so crap.
Now, the French toast which was also at our table. Bam they friggin nailed it. That plate is why they are still getting 4 stars. It was so good. Ridiculously fluffy and perfectly sweetened and plenty of food to go around.
Would I go back. For the French toast yes. For the waffle though, no, I would sooner just go hungry.
