3 weeks agoHad a great time at THIRTY8 in Kuala Lumpur. The place looks amazing, perfect for a special night out. I tried the tagliatelle and noodles with prawns. Both were tasty and cooked just right. The best part was dessert. They give you a chocolate cake with a hammer to break open the outer chocolate layer. It was super fun and tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and quick to help. If you're in KL and want a great meal, you should definitely check out THIRTY8.

2 weeks agoExcellent meal here recently. Yummy food and good value for money given its a restaurant operating in a 5 star hotel. Even the entry level red wine was most enjoyable for a reasonable price. Service was par excellence. Kudos to Oliver who served our table. Also compliments to the chef for the awesome food.

2 weeks agoCome for the ambience or atmosphere would be fabulous(avoid breakfast perhaps - as it's crowded); regardless of day or night... the views are absolutely majestic. Well, the food is not bad but neither is it great... the service is just not something I would expect of a 5-star hotel. Yes, they might be courteous and friendly(or at least some of them tried to smile during high occupancy), but it's the missing little touches that count.

3 weeks agoI recently had the opportunity to enjoy afternoon tea at THIRTY8 Restaurant and I was very impressed. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was elegant. The finger sandwiches were perfectly made, with the fillings perfectly balanced. The scones were warm and flaky, and the clotted cream and jam were delicious. The pastries and cakes were all beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The tea was also excellent. I tried a variety of different teas and they were all flavorful and aromatic. The staff was very knowledgeable about the teas and they were happy to make recommendations. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at THIRTY8 Restaurant for afternoon tea. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special afternoon tea experience.

in the last weekHad diner here tonight. Loved the lobster bisque. The view is amazing. But need to call before going since they are always full. The signature fried rice was also very delicious. They use to serve roasted pumpkin soup which isnt on the menu anymore and i hope it will be again in future. Will come back. The olive butter is to live for! Xoxo
