Dined here for a birthday celebration and was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere welcoming. I particularly enjoyed dining experience. It was a taste sensation and delicious. Of course the price is costly but definitely worth a visit.

TL;DR - Come for the vibe and views, not the food or the service. But then again, there might be other sky lounges in KL where you get vibe, views, food, and service all in one. Giving Thirty8 a rating of 3 stars as the average of individual rankings (Food 3 stars, Service 1 star, atmosphere 5 stars). This is a very nice sky lounge. We went for high tea and purchased vouchers the morning of (same day). The atmosphere, decor, and views of the twin towers were fantastic. The savory food was good and all the food was presented well: inspired, beautiful, and/or cute. However, the sweets were too sweet. Service gets a 1 star ranking because on at least two different occasions we requested more tea or coffee (which is free flow), and it took 10-15 minutes or more for it to come. On one of those two aforementioned occasions, we asked the staff three times and waited 30+ minutes.

Absolutely enjoyed the experience!! Nas was so lovely and kind, a very attentive staff member. Enjoyed the ambience and food!! The food was more local and my Malaysian friend who works in the UK said this is better than a high tea in London. The food was aesthetically pleasing as well. All in all, a great experience!!

We 3 of us went there for high tea and the food was good. We loved the desserts and their wok fried rice was very nice. The waiter and waitress are very polite and we loved their hospitality. The only thing made us uncomfortable was the manager in duty (Mr Alex) was shouting at his staffs. As we ourselves as a diners we felt really bad for the staffs the way he called and shouted at them right near the kitchen counter. He should be aware that all customer can hear him and this is not diners are expecting. Other than Alex's manner all good.

Went here for the afternoon tea, had a beautiful view on KLCC with amazing afternoon tea treats. Price is also very justified if you consider how nice the surrounding is and how much food you get. One of my favourite afternoon tea places in Asia so far, just the service was a little cold here and there, but it has also been a very busy day.
