Absolutely enjoyed the experience!! Nas was so lovely and kind, a very attentive staff member. Enjoyed the ambience and food!! The food was more local and my Malaysian friend who works in the UK said this is better than a high tea in London. The food was aesthetically pleasing as well. All in all, a great experience!!

TL;DR - Come for the vibe and views, not the food or the service. But then again, there might be other sky lounges in KL where you get vibe, views, food, and service all in one. Giving Thirty8 a rating of 3 stars as the average of individual rankings (Food 3 stars, Service 1 star, atmosphere 5 stars). This is a very nice sky lounge. We went for high tea and purchased vouchers the morning of (same day). The atmosphere, decor, and views of the twin towers were fantastic. The savory food was good and all the food was presented well: inspired, beautiful, and/or cute. However, the sweets were too sweet. Service gets a 1 star ranking because on at least two different occasions we requested more tea or coffee (which is free flow), and it took 10-15 minutes or more for it to come. On one of those two aforementioned occasions, we asked the staff three times and waited 30+ minutes.

Dined here for a birthday celebration and was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere welcoming. I particularly enjoyed dining experience. It was a taste sensation and delicious. Of course the price is costly but definitely worth a visit.

Come for the ambience or atmosphere would be fabulous(avoid breakfast perhaps - as it's crowded); regardless of day or night... the views are absolutely majestic. Well, the food is not bad but neither is it great... the service is just not something I would expect of a 5-star hotel. Yes, they might be courteous and friendly(or at least some of them tried to smile during high occupancy), but it's the missing little touches that count.

Food was awful. We had afternoon tea here. Tastewise, all the desserts tasted really full of chemicals, no real flavours-dreadful. Savoury was nothing great as well. Quantity was awfully poor for the price paid. The only thing we probably liked was the sesame condiment. Come on Hyatt, really? This is supposed to be 5-star class, we could have had better food for that price elsewhere. There was no feel of "afternoon tea" at all. This isnt a one-man-opinion, this is a four-people-opinion. Absolutely disappointing! Will never come back here for the afternoon tea.
