We had an enjoyable CNY dinner buffet at Curate. When we entered the main area, the staff were there to wish us Chinese New Year greetings. They had yee sang which was already prepared, should you want to lou as a family or you could also do-it-yourself. There were many varieties of food, including some that were specially for the Cny celebration. The chef de cuisine, Chef Goh, was also extremely friendly and even helped to carry my elderly mum's coffee. The night view of KL made our meal even more enjoyable.
Beautiful view as it gives a birds eye view.
Fantastic spread during the lunch buffet.
I like the salads (lots of variety) and the desserts (not so sweet) and the soups (high quality).
But it’s expensive.
The food choices is under my expectation.
The food overall taste good, the downside is crab is a little mushy(not fresh). The curry lamb is good(the same counter where they put roti canai) . Service is 5 star. Ambient is 5 star. Very clean environment. Food need to add more choices for a buffet.
We enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Wonderful ambience, impeccable service. Food was generally ok. Prime rib was superb, Yorkshire pudding was a great combo to it.
Surprisingly the best dish was the egg Benedict with crab meat. Flavorful and moreish.
The humongous water prawns was my 2nd favourite. Meaty and flavorful.
The Japanese selection of sashimi was a bit disappointing, lots of room for improvement there.
We like the ambience and service. Nothing beats a relaxing and leisurely Sunday brunch.
