a month agoI love this hotel. It’s called Palihouse and originally it’s called the embassy and you could stay here I think like as an apartment if you wanted. Anyways, my mom used to live here and he’s got so much character when you go inside the old wood and everything I cannot take pictures from inside this time because I’m not staying there as a guest but I have a friend who staying there and she loves it. She loves the old character of it the building super cool and I recommend if you have time come by here to third and Washington and Santa Monica California and just check it out. If you’re out, just enjoying a vacation or go out to dinner just stop by and go inside and you’ll really get like the cool vibes. Let the falcon fly.!

2 months agoI am rarely effusive in a review however Pailhouse in Santa Monica was terrific. Having spent decades traveling, staying in hotels grand, cheap, awful, Palihouse is the perfect fit for me. It feels like a home but ther service is impeccable. The rooms are the so nice, again like a 2nd home. If you want an experience of 24/7 room service, flash bars, hotel cars, etc, it's probably not for you. But having done all that, this is the top of the charts for me.

6 months agoBooked a stay at the Palihouse in Santa Monica to celebrate my 30th birthday a few weeks ago. The hotel is gorgeous, from the grounds outdoors (bocce in the garden! beautiful fountain!), to the lobby and the cafe area, to the room itself. Amazing location so close to palisades park and downtown, so a great place to explore from. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen and separate living room and had so much space to be able to have friends over. We chose the hotel because of how cool the decor is and the general unique vibe of the place. Hector, the general manager, is the most kind and accommodating person and made every moment of the stay perfect for us. Noah and Piper who work at the front desk and the coffee counter also were so gracious and lovely. We love this hotel and will be looking for any excuse to come back for another stay!
