a month agoNice atmosphere. The staff was great and supportive of each other. The restaurant has two floors (no elevator). It also has an outside seating area. The outdoor area does have umbrellas and two fans. I ordered the Shrimp & Grits ($28). The portion was a nice size. The dish was good, more of a tomato based taste version. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the serving size fit the dish. The dish contained dollaps of melted cheese as well. I also ordered a latte and it was very good. Pulling into the restaurant it appears to be open/self parking, but an attendant will give you a ticket to place inside your car windshield. The attendant will advise you that there is no cost to park, but a tip is appreciated, even if you park yourself.

2 weeks agoIt's a great place for brunch. The food quality was excellent. Prices are a little high but expected with current inflation levels. The atmosphere was pleasant, giving off an art deco, rustic vibe. I would’ve given it five stars, but the bus lady aggressively removed dishes from the table. In one instance, I had to tell her I was not done eating as she was about to grab my plate. We felt a little rushed, and at that time, the restaurant was not full of people waiting to be seated, so I am not sure why the rush! Also, we had a group of 6, and we were giving thanks for our food, holding hands with our heads bowed down, and the woman who brought out the food interrupted our prayer. In my experience, most servers or runners will respectfully wait if they see you praying. Lastly, there is valet parking, which is great.

a month agoIf I had to sum up my experience in one word, that word would be: SPLENDID! I am a first time visitor, and I had a beautiful experience. Jesus welcomed me and was attentive & friendly from the beginning. The atmosphere and the decor is perfectly stated. The artwork that’s displayed throughout compliments the space beautifully. They have a second floor, which adds another layer of beauty… There is a piano to boot☺️. With regards to the food, I had chicken and waffles with a Bellini. The food was delicious! The chicken had the perfect spices/ flavor and complemented the sweetness of the waffle . I think some times restaurants get overly creative with the “classics” and these guys do a great job of keeping chicken and waffles simple yet delectable. Overall, my experience was a 10/10. Highly recommend.

2 weeks agoOne of my best friends recommended that I should try Morgan’s restaurant next time I’m in downtown Miami. After leaving the Balloon Museum, my cousin and I decided to try Morgans. It’s recommended to do a reservation online ahead of time. As soon as you wall in, you are greeted by the friendly hostess, who takes you to your table at your reserve time. This restaurant has a rustic vintage chic appeal to it. There were multiple forms of art displayed while soft music played in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and helped us navigate through the menu. We ordered the strawberry lemonade and iced chai as drinks. We then ordered the frittata with hash spuds and the egg white omelette that came with hash spuds. The portion sizes of this restaurant are huge! The food is amazing and perfectly cooked; I’m in love with their hash fuzz, which are thick pieces of potatoes fried to perfection. Needless to say I have leftovers for breakfast the next day lol. I cannot wait to come back and try more from Morgan’s, especially their lunch menu.

3 months agoThe portions sizes are massive and the outdoor seating area was very nice. however, it could use some more shaded areas. The menu had very unique items and a lot to choose from. I would defiantly visit again
