Barnum Cafè

I do absolutely understand why there are lines in front of the restaurant every day! We visited the place the first day of our stay (since it was the closest cafe) and then eat in every day the rest of our stay. The food is great, they have tasty decaf coffee and the service - exceptional! Felt so welcomed in this place, the staff was always smiling even though they were mostly very busy. Oh, and they were always willing to adjust the order to our needs which I always appreciate.

Lovely little cafe located in the heart of the city. We came here on both mornings that we were in Roma for breakfast and would recommend their club sandwiches! They also gave us some pastries and coffee to try which was a really nice gesture :) special shout out to the cashier (sorry didn’t get his name!) who was so friendly to us!

Very pleasant breakfast place in a central location. If you’re looking for something heartier than a croissant, this is a great place to stop. Friendly staff. It gets crowded with a mix of locals and tourists, so book a table in advance. The food is very good. The tomatoes were bursting in sweet flavor. Eggs were done just right. The fresh orange juice is a winner too. Nice place to start a day.

Highly recommended ! We couldn’t find many breakfast spots in Rome, which is understandable. However, this is by far one of the best breakfast locations we found. Very friendly staff, delicious food, and very tasty coffee ! Thank you Daniel for hosting us !

It was a short walk to @barnumroma for breakfast yesterday. It was a great start to our day. The cafe is bustling and full of energy. The service was fast and the juice, coffee and food delicious. The juice blends were really tasty and I love a hit of ginger in my juice so the carrot, orange, ginger and turmeric juice was perfect for me. I had the scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon breakfast. I don’t normally love overly crispy bacon but this was really nice and crispy without being dry. The hash brown was rosti style and a highlight of the breakfast. Our son had pancakes which he claimed were the best he has ever had. The coffee did not disappoint. They take coffee very seriously and have many types but we went with the standard espresso style cafe latte which was very enjoyable
