If you're a tourist looking for Berlin-style hipster cafés in Rome, this is the place for you Where to begin? The service is excellent – everyone is friendly, speaks perfect English, and the dishes are served very quickly. How about the food and drinks? The coffee tastes just as it should – creamy and flavorful. ☕ The almond croissant is perfect: crispy and crunchy on the outside, with a soft core and a perfect hint of almond. Just great! 🥐 My avocado toast was good – nothing groundbreaking, but tasty. 🥑 Would I come back? Probably for a coffee and a croissant, because the location, the street, and the surrounding alleys are beautiful.

Found this while browsing Google Maps for Aussie-style breakfast spots in Rome, read many good reviews and decided to check it out. It was a short walk from our accommodation. Happy to report it lives up to the hype. Food was hearty, service was pleasant and calm despite the cafe being full. We arrived 30 minutes after opening and it was already full, be prepared to wait during peak times. The cafe was busy but no one was panicky and there was no chaos at any point. We tried another brunch spot in Rome and it didn’t live up to Barnum.

Fantastic experience - especially catered to tourists but with a Roman charm. The staff is friendly, the coffee and juices tasty - so is the food. Restroom is small but by Rome standards fantastic. Come prepared to wait in a line to be seated. Yes - it’s that popular. Bypass the line by ordering to go inside.

It is worth the wait! Our server Massimo was so friendly and recommended ‘scrambled eggs with hash brown, toast and a choice between bacon and sausage OR roasted vegetables and fried cheese sticks’. I ordered the roasted vegetables and added extra bacon and sausage on the side - this is provided by their local deli! We also ordered ‘yoghurt with homemade granola and fresh fruit’. Along with iced latte, double cappuccino and cold brew. It was really yummy and we had such a good experience. Must try if you’re ever in Rome. Gracie Massimo!

Great cold brew! It’s hard to find cold brew in Rome but this place was great. The fresh orange, carrot, ginger, turmeric juice was delicious. Service was also lovely. Once it hit noon it started getting really busy so I’d say try to come before 11:30am, but even with the wait they were really efficient in turning tables in a timely manner. 100% would recommend if you’re wanting a proper breakfast.
