in the last weekHad such a great time. My friends and I feasted on the fried zucchini chips, spiced beet dip, roasted cauliflower, and kefta kebab for appetizers. I personally enjoyed Mimi’s Salmon Burger for my main dish. The service was super attentive and kind.

a month agoMy husband and I came here for breakfast on Saturday morning around 8:45. We were able to snag a table upon arrival as the dining room was pretty sparsely populated. By the time we left around an hour later they were almost at capacity. Service was quick and friendly and for a large and lively dining room the noise level was pretty moderate. For breakfast my husband had the matzo ball soup which he said really hit the spot. I ordered the grapefruit and yogurt. My go to breakfast is always yogurt and granola. It seems like a relatively difficult dish to mess up but I have had more than my fair share of bad ones. This one was elite. The Lebanese yogurt was thick and creamy, the granola was lightly sweetened and the mint and grapefruit was such an interesting addition. It was also the perfect portion size. I would happily eat this for breakfast every morning. Can’t wait to come back and try some of the items on the lunch menu next time I am in NYC.

4 months agoIf you are visiting New York and you're in Soho searching for an exceptional brunch experience, look no further than Jack's Wife Freda. This American-Mediterranean bistro truly stands out as one of the best brunch spots in the area, offering a delightful fusion of flavors. I highly recommend trying their rosewater waffles, which are simply divine, as well as the grilled halloumi and the Mediterranean breakfast—each dish is a testament to their commitment to quality and creativity. Their cappuccinos and lattes are equally delicious, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. The lively ambiance, combined with the friendly and attentive staff, makes for a welcoming dining experience. It's also a fantastic place for medium to large groups, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a memorable meal together. With its excellent location and fun vibe, Jack's Wife Freda is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a delicious brunch while in Soho. Don't miss out on this gem!

a week agoWhy SO loud??? There are so many great things about this restaurant! The food is creative and beautifully executed, the specials are fantastic, the service is excellent, and the interior design is absolutely lovely. It all comes together so well… but I have to take one star off. While the playlist is good, it’s WAY TOO LOUD. You can’t hear the person you’re with, or even the server—especially when you’re trying to learn about those amazing specials! As a result, people start raising their voices to hear each other, and the atmosphere quickly becomes chaotic and uncomfortable. It’s a shame because everything else is so well done..
