Renowned for its simple and fresh comfort food, Bubby’s is dedicated to defending the American table and its traditions with thoughtful ingredient sourcing and an “off the commercial food grid” philosophy. The mission has remained the same from that first day– to welcome each and every person as though they are guests in our home, to raise the awareness of the beauty of American food – its ethnic contributions and regional and geographic abundance, and to celebrate the patchwork of American culture.
Bubby’s wants people to know where their food came from, who grew it and what is good about it. American cuisine is much more than burgers and pie; it’s Chinese, Mexican, Southern, an elaborate and flavorful food scape created by the generations of people who built America.
27 years Bubby’s has been cooking and baking in a way that is thoughtful, healthy and most importantly, delicious!

a year agoService is good. Food is amazing. We showed up without a reservation and were seated and served quickly. Always a difficult decision to decide on what plate to get. We had the bacon mac and cheese, hot chicken sandwich (with fries), and the fried chicken and pancakes. The dessert you see in the picture is the key lime pie. Can't wait to try their breakfast and brunch menu next. Definitely recommend!

3 months agoWould recommend coming in a weekday so you can get a reservation because even on a Friday the line was out the door - but I can see why! The pancakes are truly phenomenal, so light and fluffy. I got the chocolate chip & whipped cream topping and the berry compote. The chocolate was great at first but got a bit sickeningly sweet after a bit - but the berry compote was perfect. I could only get through half of them but would come back and share next time! Staff was very kind and welcoming.

5 months agoLove!!! The food was so yummy!! I got pancakes and they were so fluffy and just the perfect amount of sweetness. My sister got the biscuits and gravy and I couldn’t hold myself back from stealing a few bites. The atmosphere is very lovely too, this place is definitely approved by me!!

7 months agoI went for brunch on Sunday around 12 it looked crowded but the line was moving pretty fast. I sat inside and the ambiance was nice. This is a pretty nice place for brunch and lunch. The food was good I ordered the Bubby’s breakfast and it was more than enough for one person. One of my favorite things was the biscuits. This is a must have if you go. There’s the option of refill coffee but it’s more money. Overall, the service was great. The food came out very fast and it was good.

8 months agoBubby’s is so good, we went twice in a weekend. The service is friendly, the food is fantastic and the space is great. They don’t take reservations for brunch, but they have lines for indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s a well-oiled machine. The line moves fast. The first visit I had the sourdough pancakes. They are thin, sour and spongey. The first few bites were delicious, but I don’t need to order it again. (Split some with friends! It’s worth the try.) My husband ordered the James Beard pancakes with berry compote and they were amazing. The second visit he ordered the crab cakes Benedict and loved it. I ordered the avocado toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The basil, crushed red pepper and goat cheese crumbled added herbaceous, spicy and tangy dimensions to a basic dish. The fries are phenomenal. I ordered a loaf of their sourdough to go and it’s not to miss. Bubby’s is deserving of the accolades.
