It wasn't crowded on the Saturday night in October we went, so our party of 4 was seated right away. The host and our server were very friendly and attentive to our needs as customers. The food was good for three of us. However, one of us found hair in her food. The staff was very responsive and replaced the dish with another meal. Unfortunately, the meat on the replacement had an "off" taste, so my daughter did not finish the second meal. My hope is that our experience is not the norm. Because we appreciated the customer service, I would give the Times Square Diner & Grill another chance.
Is there anything better than an old-school NYC diner?
The Times Square Diner is the best diner in the area.
I had the Florentine omelet (spinach & feta); my friend had their burger - we were both very happy!
Came here for brunch today. Food and service more than exceeded expectations but you do pay for it. It is expensive but just need to remind yourself It’s New York City so nothing is cheap here. The best value for money here is the coffee! Free refills! If you like pancakes, you’ll love them here! Yummy! Portions are huge so you won’t go hungry later after a feed here.
In town for the weekend with My kids, sister & nephew. Looking for a great place to eat brunch in NYC before heading home. We Google breakfast in times square and this is what pops up. Yes I have to tell background story! We're from BMORE, known for good food! When I say the food was So Damn good, BABY!! HANDS DOWN, SOME GOOD FOOD!! The service was A1! They were attentive to our needs. Never let our beverages get too low. The kids loved their food. Definitely A Must Go-To✨ Try them out for yourself, you will not be disappointed!
We were looking for a diner serving good (late) breakfast. Time Square diner was recommended. A quaint little diner with satisfying aesthetic. We are so thankful for the experience! The food was fantastic. Two people from our group ordered their delicious Eggs Benedict. We were all more than satisfied with our meals. Steve was kind and attentive and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. If we lived here full time the Time Square diner would be a regular.
