Direct Trade coffee shop in the heart of Karlin district. Můj šálek kávy is one of the three coffee shops in Prague, run by doubleshot coffee roastery.
This is generally a good place. In theory, everything was done right. Turkish-style eggs are an interesting dish and worth trying. The omlet with ham and cheese was good. Coffee and tea fine. But still, I expected something better. Maybe I was hoping for a cozier place. This is not a small, quiet cafe. The staff was not very interested in us as customers. Ah, and the bread was probably not very fresh. Prices are rather high. But it’s still a good cafe of course, you can eat and drink tasty things.
Not 5 stars because they are always full
Jokes aside they have great coffee options and good cakes.
You can always have a coffee outside, even if it’s seated in the other side of the street.
It is quiet nice because the place is cozy and has always sun in the afternoon.
I wish they had more meal options
A little rugged view from the terrace but the service and food more than makes up for it.
Great portion of Turkish eggs partnered with a delicious coffee brew and lemonade. Highly recommend to try even just for the coffee.
If you are a fan of high end filter coffee this is a great spot. The tricholate and pulsar brewers work well and there are some competition level beans here. Even the batch brew was quality.
I ordered the vegan bowl and honestly I should have sent it back. It was far sweeter than the ice cream I had for dessert recently. The dressing was basically syrup. I felt a bit nauseous after eating it and had to take a walk to settle my stomach.
Their other food looked good though.
We stopped by to have breakfast. The waitress was very nice and walked us to the table. The food and atmosphere is amazing, we really enjoyed it! We will definitely stop by again!
