in the last weekIt was a great experience all around! The staff was super nice and welcoming, we went with our dog and they even gave him a treat. They've got a good variety of options and we were all pretty satisfied. Would recommend the potato pancakes and the chicken sandwich with pepper (the bread was so fresh it was still warm!!) Plus the drinks were pretty big

5 months agoWent in on a Saturday for brunch with friends. They were very busy and did not take reservations. We sat after our full party had arrived. It was my first time here and I felt it was just okay. They didn't have a lot of options on the menu. I ordered the bagel plate and shared it with a friend who ordered the potato cakes. The bagel was good ( hard to mess up a bagel!) but the potatoes were bland. We also stopped at the bakery attached to the restaurant. I got cookies and brownies for the family. We all had the same opinions of very dry and not good for the pastries.

9 months agoGreat location in the middle of a great little part of Berkeley. Old diner vibes with good food to match. It met expectations and was definitely a place that I would try again. The salmon hash was great and the biscuit. Oh the biscuit. Somehow the biscuit stayed nice and hot throughout our time there.

a week agoClassic diner with the breakfast staples and deli delights. The staff were super friendly and provided crayons to entertain my 3-year old. Highly recommend if you are already on 4th Street and craving the classics. Next time, if we have the time, we'd love to try the souffle pancake!
