a month agoHistoric breakfast and lunch spot offers a classic diner experience. The grilled Ruben sandwich with home fries was piping hot and tasty, especially liked the home fries. We also enjoyed the grilled Pasilla chicken sandwich.

3 months agoWe really really like this place, it's a little bit hard to articulate why. It's just a good, old fashioned, not fancy diner place. Not a retro, hipster, ironic diner. If that makes sense? Anyway, there will be a long long wait. So get over there, put your name on the list, have some patience, do some window shopping, and you will be rewarded. The prices are reasonable, and the food is very tasty.

7 months agoOceanview Diner had absolutely amazing food, very reasonably priced. Definitely a must visit for those who are looking for a great American breakfast or brunch. Tips: the corned beef hash, and chili, are both homemade (something I always ask about when I see it on a menu ), and either souffle is a fantastic item to share. Order it as far enough in advance, because it takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare and cook.

4 months agoA decent option if in the mood for American breakfast. The Soufflé pancakes are a little bit of a disappointment. They were a little too eggy, even for Soufflé, and I got mine with strawberry topping, but it made everything a little too wet and cold. I'm not factoring the price into my score, but I will mention that I was astounded by how much 2 omelettes, a pancake and some coffees came out to. The prices are a fair bit more than when it was Bette's.
